A Little Background Information
I grew up on the outskirts of Cleveland, Ohio; after graduating high school I attended the University of Wisconsin (Madison), Boston University and the University of Pittsburgh. I have a B.A., an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Anthropology.
I feel lucky to have been able to conduct research, write, teach and administer at the University level, run my own businesses and work as a senior executive for both established corporations and entrepreneurial start-ups. I have had experience with domestic and international business and have been fortunate to travel to many interesting places around the globe: I established business units in Latin and South America, Europe and Asia and held responsibility for all aspects of their operations.
I am a principal of Randall Kendis and Associates, a consultancy focusing on:
- Analysis of market conditions, developments and future prospects in the domestic and global inventory Service field.
- Industry background briefings for investment groups exploring mergers and acquisitions.
- Research and analysis of specific firms being considered for acquisition.
- Research, analysis and reporting of global industry trends.
- Review of state-of-development of technology as it relates to specific industry, and potential implications for business.
- Reporting on best practices and guidance on process improvement.
We also provide clients other organizational and management assistance with techniques and approaches including Social/Organization Network Analysis and Business/Consumer Anthropology.

I enjoy nourishing my creative side and indulge in new product development–things that capture my attention and interest. In November of 2013 one of my items, Streamaroo, became commercially available.
